Fast Vegetarian Sandwiches

If you have a jar of pesto in stock, be sure to make these delicious, hearty, vegetarian sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • Cherry tomatoes red and/or yellow (cut into quarters) – 1 glass
  • Parmesan cheese (shavings) – 30 g
  • Pesto sauce – 1 glass
  • Baguette – 24 slices
  • Fresh basil (for serving)
  • Pine nuts (fried) (for serving)

Directions

  1. Brush the baguette slices with pesto sauce.
  2. Top with cheese shavings and cherry tomato quarters.
  3. Sprinkle pine nuts and basil leaves on the sandwiches.
