Instructions

  1. Wash the fennel, remove the green parts and the stalk. To do this, cut the fennel in half lengthways, for example. Then finely slice with a kitchen grater. Add half of the lemon juice, a pinch of salt and a pinch of sugar and mix.
  2. In a second bowl, mix the quark, cream and milk into a dressing. Season to taste with salt, pepper and the remaining lemon juice. Mix with the fennel.
  3. Peel and thinly slice the two bananas, mix with the salad and, if necessary, season again with sugar, lemon juice and pepper.
  4. It is best to let the salad sit for about an hour.
  5. You can serve this salad as a starter, side dish or on its own.
  6. It was tasty even to initial skeptics.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
