Ingredients

  • 3 tuber / s fennel
  • 1 vegetable onion (s)
  • 4 clove (s) garlic
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • sugar

Instructions

  1. Cut the fennel bulbs into very fine strips. Chop the fresh greens and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan. Fry the fennel strips at a high temperature for approx. 5 min.
  3. Add the vegetable onion cut in half rings and chopped garlic. Season to taste with salt, pepper and a tablespoon of sugar. The fennel should be golden yellow and still al dente.
  4. Sprinkle the fresh fennel green on top before serving.
