Festive Avocado and Cucumber Snack

A savory, vibrant and satisfying avocado and cucumber appetizer that can be prepared in just a few minutes. Avocado and lemon puree goes well with holiday canapes with fresh cucumber and lightly toasted black bread.

Ingredients

  • Avocado – 1 pc.
  • Cucumber – 1 pc.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Lemon juice – 2 tablespoons
  • Avocado or olive oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Black bread – 200 g
  • Cranberries or viburnum (for decoration) – 8-12 berries

Directions

  1. Cut brown bread into portions, lightly sprinkle them with butter. Dry in a grill pan or oven until crispy.
  2. Peel the avocado, remove the pit and cut into small cubes.
  3. Mash the avocado with a fork or in a blender, add lemon juice.
  4. Salt.
  5. Cut the cucumbers and onions into thin slices.
  6. Place a tablespoon of prepared avocado puree on a slice of toasted bread.
  7. We form a “tail” from several pieces (slices) of cucumber.
  8. We make “ears” from thin onion rings and a “nose” from any bright berry.
