Ingredients

  • 1 kg fig (s), fresh
  • 1 lemon (s), organic
  • 50 g almond (s), (pens)
  • 2 tablespoon honey, (acacia honey)
  • 200 g suar, brown

Instructions

  1. Carefully dab the figs with kitchen paper, cut in half and dice. Wash the lemon with hot water, pat dry and rub the peel, then squeeze out the juice.
  2. Mix the lemon zest and juice well with the honey, figs and sugar in a saucepan. Toast the almond sticks in a pan without fat.
  3. Bring the fig mixture to the boil while stirring and simmer over medium heat while stirring for about 25 minutes.
  4. Do not forget the gel test!
  5. Stir in the almond sticks and pour the jam into jars that have been rinsed with hot water and seal.
  6. Shelf life approx. 6 months
