Ingredients
- 700 g fi (s), fresh, finely chopped
- 6 tablespoon sugar, brown
- 13 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, white
- 3 tablespoon mustard, medium hot
- 1 teaspoon chilli sauce, super hot, or other chilli substitute
- 150 g jam, (kiwi-pineapple jam), alternatively apricot jam
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon herbs, optional

- Bring the fresh figs to the boil with the sugar in the saucepan, caramelize a little and then add the remaining ingredients. Simmer for about 5 minutes, then mix well with the hand blender and simmer gently for another 10 minutes. Then immediately pour hot into the prepared glasses.
- Makes 2 larger and 2 small glasses.
- Do not make too much of it, as it can only be kept in the refrigerator for about 4 weeks.
