Ingredients

  • 200 g date (s), dried, without stone
  • 250 g bacon (breakfast bacon)
  • 1 pck. Double cream cheese
  • 125 g crème fraîche, with herbs
  • some lemon juice
  • 0.5 ½ bunch chives or 20 wild garlic leaves
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 orange (s)

Instructions

  1. Cut chives or wild garlic leaves into tiny pieces, mix thoroughly with cream cheese and crème fraîche and season with a little lemon juice.
  2. Fill the dates with this mixture, carefully wrap in bacon and secure with a toothpick. Flatten the parcel a little.
  3. Heat the butter in a non-stick pan and fry the dates over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Turn in between and check the degree of browning.
  4. Cut a slice from the oranges on the stem side so that they stand firmly. Pierce the date stickers all around, hedgehog-shaped, into the oranges and serve.
