Instructions

  1. ! Mix the quark with the eggs and sugar. Mix the flour and baking soda and fold it into the quark. Stir in the milk.
  2. Heat the fat in the deep fryer (160-170 degrees). Shape the dough into small balls with a spoon and fry in the hot fat. The donuts turn by themselves in the fat as long as they have enough space. So you shouldn`t bake too many donuts at once. Depending on the size, they should bake in the fat for 3-5 minutes until they have turned a light golden brown color.
  3. Turn the donuts in the sugar immediately after frying.
  4. Tip: The donuts taste particularly good if you add a little cinnamon to the sugar to turn them! Best served warm

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
