Ingredients

  • 600 g turnip (s), peeled and weihed
  • 1 tablespoon, heaped butter
  • water, approx. 2 - 3 tablespoon
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable stock, instant
  • 100 grams skyr
  • 1 tablespoon, heaped beet syrup
  • 2 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg (s), size M
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • some flakes butter
  • Chives for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Cut the turnips into cubes approx. 5 - 6 mm in size.
  2. Put the butter with 2 - 3 tablespoons of water, the vegetable stock and the diced swede in a saucepan and cook for about 10 - 12 minutes not too soft. Season well with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  3. Mix the skyr with the beet syrup, egg and breadcrumbs. Stir into the turnips, season a little again. Divide the ingredients in two casserole dishes and place a few pieces of butter on top.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C top / bottom heat for about 30 - 35 minutes. Sprinkle with chives and serve.
