Instructions

  1. Put milk, sugar, vanilla and butter in a saucepan, heat and bring to the boil while stirring. Then take the pot off the hob.
  2. Whip the cream firmly. Stir the whipped cream and sour cream into the milk, put it back on the hob and let it boil again.
  3. Now let the whole thing get completely cold.
  4. Subsequent processing in the ice machine according to the model. After about 20 minutes, sprinkle the chocolate flakes into the mixture.
  5. If the ice cream is not made in the ice cream machine, you have to work the mass through well with the hand mixer 2-3 times during the freezing process so that it becomes nice and creamy. Here, too, the chocolate flakes are only added when the ice cream is already frozen.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
