Ingredients

  • 750 g fish fillet (s) (pollack fillet)
  • 250 ml beer
  • 8 tablespoon flour
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), add the juice
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the pollack fillet, dry it and cut it into portions, season with salt, pepper, lemon juice and mustard. Pour the beer into a bowl, add the flour and stir well with a whisk. Stir in the oil, sugar and salt.
  2. Dip the fish fillets in the beer batter, place in the heated shortening, fry until golden brown and drain on a rack.
