Ingredients

  • 500g flour

  • 300 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a bowl and stir into a thick batter. If necessary, add flour, the dough must not slide off the spoon, but must fall off the spoon with difficulty.
  2. Bring salted water to a boil in a large saucepan, cut off the sparrows with a tablespoon and let them slide into the water. Let it steep for about 15 minutes.
  3. They go well with all roasts.
