Ingredients

  • 100 g lentils
  • 4 pairs sausages (Frankfurter sausages)
  • 0.5 liter ½ water
  • 100 g root system, (onions, leeks, carrots, celery)
  • 30 g fat
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 0.75 liter ¾ broth
  • some parsley
  • Spice (s)

Instructions

  1. Wash the lentils and soak them in the water. Sweat the chopped root vegetables in hot fat. Sweat tomato puree for a short time, add the lentils with the soaking water and the stock and cook slowly for 1 ½ hours.
  2. A pair of Frankfurter sausages and some freshly chopped parsley for each person.
  3. Seasoning to taste.
