Ingredients

  • 2 cups yogurt, Greek (10%, 150 g each)
  • 1 pinch (s) sea salt
  • 1 pinch (s) pepper, more colorful from the mill
  • 1 pinch (s) cane sugar or white sugar
  • 1 handful mint, fresh
  • some lemon peel, untreated, grated

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the fresh mint so that it can develop its aroma. Mix with the Greek yogurt, sea salt and freshly ground pepper.
  2. The whole thing gets a certain freshness from the abrasion of an unsprayed lemon peel. However, this is a matter of taste. You can also add a few squirts of lemon juice.
  3. The whole thing is best prepared a day before consumption. This allows the mint to develop its aroma nicely.
  4. This dip goes perfectly with grilled meat of any kind. It can also be enjoyed simply with a fresh baguette or with a Turkish flatbread.
