Instructions

  1. Dice spring onions, radishes, eggs, potatoes and meat sausage and place in a larger soup tureen. Top up with the buttermilk and mineral water. Chop garden herbs (depending on what the garden has to offer, e.g. cress, parsley, chives) and add them. Season everything vigorously with salt and pepper and stir. Serve after two hours in the refrigerator with fresh baguette.
  2. On hot summer days, this refreshing cold soup made from a Russian house recipe is a great alternative to salad. Light, low in calories and just something completely different.

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling.
