Ingredients

  • 400 g Swiss chard leaves
  • parsley
  • coriander
  • Dill
  • some nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ sugar
  • 3 tablespoon flour
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • Olive oil for frying
  • 1 lemon (s), juice it

Instructions

  1. Bring salted water to the boil in a saucepan and first blanch the stalks and leaf veins of the chard for 2 minutes, then add the chard leaves and blanch for another 4 minutes. Drain and squeeze the chard until there is almost no moisture in it.
  2. Mix the chard in a bowl with chopped parsley, coriander, dill, not too much nutmeg, sugar, flour, eggs, pressed garlic cloves, crumbled feta cheese, a little salt and a little more pepper.
  3. Shape the mixture into cakes and fry them golden brown on both sides in a frying pan with a little olive oil. Drain the fried cakes on kitchen paper. Finally, drizzle some lemon juice over it.
