Fried River Fish

River fish fried in flour breading with spices.

Ingredients

  • River fish, medium-sized – 5 pcs.
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Flour – 1.5-2 tbsp
  • Italian herbs – 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – for frying

Directions

  1. Peel the fish, gut, wash. Cut off tail, fins, and head.
  2. Pour salt into the bag.
  3. Add flour.
  4. Add Italian herbs and stir.
  5. Put the fish in a bag with flour and spices.
  6. Seal the bag hermetically, and then shake so that the fish is evenly covered with flour.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Place the fish in the pan. Fry over medium heat until golden brown, first on one side.
  8. Then turn the fish over and fry until golden brown on the other side.
