Instructions

  1. Tie the woodruff bundles together with twine, let them wither slightly and put them in a suitable container with the white wine. Clean or peel the fruit, cut into whole or half slices and then add them. Let it steep for about 1-2 hours. Then remove the woodruff - the fruit can still steep longer. Refrigerate.
  2. Before serving, top up with chilled sparkling wine and add lemonade if you like - this usually saves you from having to sweeten it with sugar.
  3. Tip: The fruit can of course be varied. I don`t always use strawberries, lemons, and kiwis. But at least the lemons should go in.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
