Ingredients

  • 1 chicory
  • 1 apple
  • 1 grapefruit (s)
  • 4 tablespoon pomegranate seeds
  • Cashew nuts, salted, e.g., 2 tablespoon
  • peanuts, salted, e.g., 2 tablespoon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or walnut oil
  • 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, lighter
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the chicory, remove the stalk and cut the lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Wash and core the apple and cut into bite-sized pieces. Peel the grapefruit, peel the skin off the individual fillets and cut the flesh into pieces.
  2. Put the cut ingredients in a bowl and mix with the vinegar, oil, pomegranate seeds and nuts. Finally, season the salad with salt and pepper. Use the salt sparingly as the nuts are already salted!
