- 1 chicory
- 1 apple
- 1 grapefruit (s)
- 4 tablespoon pomegranate seeds
- Cashew nuts, salted, e.g., 2 tablespoon
- peanuts, salted, e.g., 2 tablespoon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or walnut oil
- 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, lighter
- salt and pepper

- Wash the chicory, remove the stalk and cut the lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Wash and core the apple and cut into bite-sized pieces. Peel the grapefruit, peel the skin off the individual fillets and cut the flesh into pieces.
- Put the cut ingredients in a bowl and mix with the vinegar, oil, pomegranate seeds and nuts. Finally, season the salad with salt and pepper. Use the salt sparingly as the nuts are already salted!
