Ingredients

  • 1 glass mayonnaise (80% fat, important!)
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 1 shot whiskey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Tabasco, dry, Mediterranean
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 cup sunflower oil
  • 1 bulb garlic
  • 1 kg prawns with heads
  • Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. For the sauce, put all the ingredients except for the prawns and lemon juice in a saucepan and simmer on a low flame for about 1 hour. Thaw the prawns, remove the intestines and cook in the sauce for about 5 minutes.
  2. Arrange the prawns on a platter with a little sauce. Drizzle with the lemon juice. With bread or chips.
