Instructions

  1. Heat 20 grams of butter in a small pan, add the onions, sauté a little. Add the garlic, sauté a little more, deglaze with the white wine. Add the vinegar and lemon juice, add a little salt and then let everything boil down until only about 1 tablespoon of liquid remains on the onion-garlic. Set aside and let cool down.
  2. Mix the kitchen-warm butter with salt and pepper until foamy, add the onion-garlic mixture and chives and mix everything very well.
  3. Preheat the oven with top heat on the highest level. Spread the butter thinly on slices of white bread and grill for three minutes.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
