Ingredients

  • 25 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 150 g honey
  • 3 lemon (s), including the juice
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 1 chilli pepper (s)
  • salt
  • milk

Instructions

  1. Blanch the garlic cloves in milk for 2-3 minutes, drain well.
  2. Bring honey to the boil with lemon juice and a pinch of salt, add rosemary and chilli pepper. Put the garlic in a mason jar (1/2 liter), pour the hot honey mixture over it and close tightly. Let it steep for 3 to 4 days.
  3. Tastes great as an accompaniment to chicken, leg of lamb or lamb chops.
