Ingredients

  • 0.5 ½ white cabbage
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • pepper
  • 1 cup oil

Instructions

  1. Clean and grate the white cabbage. Peel and cut the onion. Put in a bowl. Heat sugar, vinegar, salt, mustard and pepper together - do not boil. Pour hot over cabbage and onions and mix well. Then mix in the oil (not heated). Cover and leave to soak in the refrigerator for at least 1 night before consumption.
