Ingredients

  • 400 g minced beef
  • 2 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 liter meat broth or vegetable broth, instant
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 400 g Hörnli (noodles)
  • 50 g cheese (Emmentaler), rated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat some oil in a frying pan and add 2 finely chopped onions and a crushed clove of garlic. Then add the chopped beef and fry. Dust the whole thing with the flour and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Deglaze with the meat or vegetable stock, stir well and bring to the boil. Add the bay leaf and cover and let simmer for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the Hörnli al dente and drain.
  3. Then remove the bay leaf and add the horns. Mix well and cover and simmer for another 12-15 minutes. Serve with the grated cheese.
