Ingredients

  • 3 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons ginger root, grated
  • 2 sticks cinnamon, broken into pieces
  • 2 teaspoons cane sugar, brown, or sweetener tablets

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. Put the ginger and the cinnamon sticks in the water, add the cane sugar and cook for 10-15 minutes. Season to taste and, if it is too hot, dilute with water.
