Ingredients

  • 200 g iner root
  • 2 orange (s), organic
  • g 1,300 suar, amount depends on the amount orane juice
  • 1 liter water

Instructions

  1. Peel the ginger and cut into slices as thin as possible, peel the oranges with a peeler and squeeze them. Measure out the orange juice.
  2. Mix the water with the orange juice, add the same amount of sugar and bring to the boil with the ginger and orange peel while stirring.
  3. Let simmer for about 15 minutes.
  4. Scoop out the ginger and orange peel and filter the syrup, e.g. through a sieve lined with a kitchen towel.
  5. Fill syrup into sterilized bottles.
  6. Makes about 2 liters of syrup.
