Ginger Tea with Peppermint
Ginger Tea with Peppermint

Instructions

  1. Peel the ginger tuber, cut into thin slices (the more thin slices, the more surface area, the more active ingredients are released and the stronger the taste) and place in a teapot. Then bring the water to the boil, add the washed and slightly chopped peppermint and simmer for a few minutes, then pour over the ginger slices. Let the tea steep for at least 10 minutes. You can also let it steep for 15-20 minutes. The longer it brews, the stronger it becomes in the taste. Then sweeten with white sugar, cane sugar, rock candy or honey, but it also tastes very good unsweetened.
  2. Tip:
  3. Instead of peppermint, you can also add cinnamon and coriander, or just water and lemon.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
