Ingredients

  • 125 g marzipan raw mixture
  • 200 g suar
  • 4 egg (s), including the egg white
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 300 g almond (s), round
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 4 teaspoons gingerbread spice
  • Sugar, finer, for decorating

Instructions

  1. Crush the marzipan, add sugar and 1 egg white and stir to a smooth mass. Beat the rest of the egg white with salt until semi-stiff and add it too.
  2. Add the almonds, flour and gingerbread spice and knead everything well.
  3. Chill the dough for 12 hours.
  4. Sprinkle the work surface with granulated sugar. Divide the dough into walnut-sized pieces and shape each into a 1 cm thick and 6 cm long roll. Roll these rolls in the sugar, place on baking sheets lined with baking paper and bake at 160 ° C (fan oven 140 ° C) for about 15 minutes. The sticks are still soft after baking. Still, don`t let it bake any longer. Then let them cool down and they`re done.
