Ingredients
For the dough:
- 125 g mararine, (Rama)
- 125 g suar, fine
- 250 g flour
- 1 egg (s)
- 1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
For covering:
- 1 kg apples, sour
- 1 teaspoon, leveled cinnamon, ground
- 3 tablespoon sugar, fine
- 1 tablespoon rum, 80%
For the cast:
- powdered sugar
- Rum, 80%

- Mix the ingredients for the dough well and then chill.
- Now peel, core and grate the apples. We prefer the cake when the apples are finely grated. Now mix the cinnamon, sugar and rum with the grated apples.
- Grease the cake pan (26 mm) and line it with approx. 2/3 of the dough (pull up an edge of approx. 3 cm). Then distribute the grated apples on top and then cover with the remaining 1/3 of the batter (works best if you roll the batter out between 2 cling films.
- Bake the cake at 170 ° C for about 35 - 45 minutes.
- After the cake has cooled down a bit. Brush with a topping of powdered sugar and rum.
- If the apple pie is still warm, a scoop of vanilla ice cream tastes delicious.
