Ingredients
- 10 salted herring (s), pickled in oil
- 1 large onion (s)
- 1 large apple
- 3 large carrots, cooked, sliced
- 4 bay leaves
- 6 juniper berries
- 100 ml cream
- 100 ml milk, (whole milk)
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
- 2 tablespoon parsley, freshly chopped

- Pat the herring dry, cut into bite-sized pieces, cut the onion into rings, cut the apple into thin slices, put everything together in a large bowl, add the spices and cream-milk mixture. Mix well together and let steep in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours.
- Baked potatoes go well with it.
