Instructions

  1. Dice the onions and fry them together with the gyros in a little oil. Mix the cream with the lettuce and add to the gyros, bring to the boil briefly. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and distribute it well. In the meantime, pre-cook the fries in the oven for about 20 minutes and then spread them over the gyros-cream mixture. Tear the butter cheese into small pieces (make 2 equal portions) and put a first layer on top of the fries. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees, as soon as the first layer has melted, put the second layer on top and bake the whole thing for another 15-20 minutes.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
