Ingredients

  • 1 roll (s), dry
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 1 egg (s)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprika powder
  • coriander
  • rosemary
  • 80 g feta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 200 g rice, (lon rain rice)
  • 1 can tomato (s), chunky
  • 400 ml meat broth

Instructions

  1. Prepare a spicy meat dough from the first ingredients up to and including rosemary. Dice the feta.
  2. Shape the dough into about 24 small balls and put a cube of feta into each one as a filling. Cover tightly with meat batter. Put 2-3 balls on a wooden skewer and put in a cool place.
  3. Heat butter in a saucepan, add rice. Pour in the tomatoes, juice and broth, season with salt and pepper and cook on a low heat for 20 minutes.
  4. While the rice is cooking, fry the meat skewers in hot oil for approx. 4 minutes.
  5. Serve the balls with tomato rice.
  6. Mixed salad goes well with it!
