Instructions

  1. Cut the sheep cheese and tomatoes into slices. Pluck the basil leaves through once, then in my opinion the aroma unfolds better. Cut the onion into fine rings. Layer upright, i.e. lengthways, in an aluminum grill tray (always cheese-onion-tomato-basil) or double-layer aluminum foil and arrange on top. Squeeze the garlic, season with salt and pepper, drizzle with olive oil. Wrap the bowl with aluminum foil, at least twice, otherwise the oil may drip into the grill. Place on the grill and grill for about 10 minutes on each side until the cheese has melted properly.
  2. Also tastes delicious with mozzarella and is a good alternative for vegetarians.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
