Ingredients

  • 4 squid tube (s)
  • 300 g feta cheese
  • 0.5 ½ bell pepper (s)
  • 16 olives, green
  • 0.5 ½ onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • olive oil
  • oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • Herb butter

Instructions

  1. Wash the squid tubes and dry them with kitchen towels.
  2. Cut the feta into small pieces and place in a small bowl. Cut the pepper, onion, olives and 1/2 clove of garlic into small pieces and add to the bowl. Add a little salt, a little pepper, a little oregano and a little olive oil and mix everything well with a spoon.
  3. Fill the squid tubes with the mixture with a spoon and seal with kebab skewers, toothpicks or the like.
  4. Chop the remaining half of the garlic clove and rub it with salt on a board. Place in a salad bowl, then add olive oil, pepper and oregano. Mix everything together and use a kitchen brush to brush the filled squid tubes with it. Let everything stand for about 30 minutes (doesn`t have to be).
  5. Then cook the squid tubes on a grill (if not available, in a pan) on both sides until the tubes turn slightly brown and swell.
  6. After grilling, serve the finished squid tubes with herb butter on top.
  7. They taste best with Greek salad and are low in carbohydrates.
