  • Beef (pulp) – 500 g
  • Raw fat – 100 g
  • Water – 50 ml
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Fat (for roasting) – 100 g

Ground Beef Schnitzel Instructions

  1. Grind 500 grams of beef through a meat grinder. Cut the 100 grams of raw fat into very small pieces.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of salt, 0.5 teaspoon of ground black pepper, and 50 ml of cold water to the minced meat. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Form the mixture into patties approximately 8 millimeters thick.
  4. Heat 100 grams of fat in a thick-bottomed frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the patties on both sides over medium heat for 2 minutes per side until they reach 71°C / 160°F internally.
  6. Transfer the cooked patties to a serving dish.
  7. Serve with baked potatoes or mashed potatoes, fresh vegetables, and pickles.
