Ingredients

  • 350 g yros meat
  • oil
  • 100 g Kritharaki (noodles in rice form)
  • salt and pepper
  • gravy (powder)
  • 100 g Gouda
  • Tzatziki

Instructions

  1. Cook the kritharaki in boiling water for 10 minutes until tender, then drain.
  2. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the meat and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Deglaze the pan with water for 1-2 minutes, scraping up the browned bits. Add the drained kritharaki to the pan and season with salt, pepper, and roughly powdered gravy.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, sprinkle with the Gouda cheese, and bake at 200°C (392°F) for 10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  4. Serve with tzatziki.
