Ham and Vegetable Sandwiches Ingredients

  • French baguette (cut into 1.5 cm slices) – 24 slices
  • Ham (sliced) – 180 g
  • Fresh cucumber (cut into thin slices) – 1 pc.
  • Carrots (peeled and chopped on a coarse grater) – 1 cup (2 pcs.)
  • Fresh cilantro (chopped) – 0.5 cup
  • Mayonnaise – 0.3333 cup
  • Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Chili pepper (seeded and cut into thin strips) – 1 / 2-1 pcs. (optional)
  • Lime wedges for serving (optional)

Ham and Vegetable Sandwiches Instructions

  1. Switch on the oven with the top grill function to preheat to a high temperature. Grease each slice of bread on one side with mayonnaise and place on a baking sheet, greased side up. Place a baking sheet under the grill at a distance of 10 cm from the upper heater, fry the bread for about 1 minute, then brush with soy sauce and cook for about 1 minute.
  2. Place ham slices, cucumber, carrots, and cilantro on top of the bread slices, or serve with chili (optional). Serve sandwiches with lime wedges.
