Ingredients

  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 40 g rated chocolate, dark
  • 160 ml egg liqueur
  • 200 g chocolate couverture, dark

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients (except for the couverture). I usually warm up the butter a little beforehand so that the mixture becomes nice and creamy.
  2. Put the dough in a greased loaf pan and bake at 175 ° C for about 40-50 minutes. If you prick the cake with a needle, no more batter should stick to it.
  3. Let the cake cool down. Melt the couverture and coat the cake with it on all sides.
  4. My loaf pan is 30 cm long - that`s why the cake makes about 15 pieces for me.
