Ingredients

  • 750 g carrot (s)
  • 1 thick onion (s)
  • 300 g cheese, hearty variety
  • 300 g flour
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 400 ml milk, or milk-cream mixture
  • 5 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Vegetable broth, grained
  • parsley
  • 1 packet baking powder

Instructions

  1. Wash the carrots and trim off bad spots (I didn`t peel them!). Peel the onion.
  2. Grate both and the cheese with the coarse slice of the food processor and transfer to a large bowl.
  3. Mix the flour, baking powder, eggs, milk, oil, spices and herbs well and mix with the carrots.
  4. If it is too dry, you can add up to 100 ml more milk.
  5. The amount of spices depends on the cheese - how hearty it is.
  6. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 180 ° for about 50 minutes.
  7. It tastes best to us when it is lukewarm.
