Ingredients

  • 800 g sour cherries
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), untreated peel
  • 400 g rock suar, brown
  • ml 1,400 vodka

Instructions

  1. Wash the cherries and remove the stalk.
  2. Wash the lemon with hot water and cut the peeled peel into strips.
  3. Put the cherries, lemon peel and rock candy in a sufficiently large glass vessel with a tightly fitting lid. Top up with vodka and close tightly.
  4. This approach now remains in the warm (preferably on the windowsill) for about 2 months to pull through.
  5. Shake it more often in between so that the sugar can dissolve.
  6. This approach is then strained through a fine sieve or a cotton cloth.
  7. Squeeze the cherries lightly.
  8. Then fill it into clean bottles and let it steep for another 2 weeks.
