  • onion – 1 / 2pcs
  • garlic – 1 clove
  • tomato sauce – 450 g
  • mustard – 1-2 tablespoons
  • salt, pepper – to taste
  • hot dog buns – 8 pcs

  1. Chop the onion finely.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  3. Add the minced meat to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks, until browned.
  4. Mince the garlic clove and add it to the pan.
  5. Add the tomato sauce and 1-2 tablespoons of mustard. Stir well to combine.
  6. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 8-10 minutes until the mixture thickens and the flavors blend together.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Spoon the cooked hot dog filling into each of the 8 hot dog buns and serve.
