Instructions

  1. Bring two liters of water to a boil in a saucepan or kettle.
  2. Rub the lemon peel and place in a tea strainer together with the mint. Pour boiling water on top. The water should then cool for two minutes so that it reaches around 80 ° C.
  3. Now add the green tea to the mixture of water, lemon peel and mint and let it steep for about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour the tea mixture into a teapot, sweeten with cane sugar as desired and let it cool.
  5. When the tea has cooled, the lemons can be squeezed and poured into the mixture.
  6. Serve the homemade lemon iced tea with ice cubes.
