Ingredients

  • 1 liter boiling water
  • 2 bags tea, (mint tea)
  • 1 lemon (s), untreated
  • Cane sugar, brown

Instructions

  1. Cut the lemon into about 1 cm thick slices and place in a sufficiently large container with the tea bags. Pour the boiling water over it and let the tea steep for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Then remove the lemon slices and the tea bags and season the tea with brown cane sugar (my recommendation: 6-7 lightly heaped teaspoons).
  3. The lemon tea is now ready. You can either drink it hot immediately or let it cool down, then put it in the refrigerator for a few hours and serve as a lemon iced tea on ice cubes.
