Homemade Potato Chips

Potato chips can be made successfully at home. Their advantage over purchased chips is obvious – no additives, except for spices.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 3 pcs.
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Pepper mix to taste
  • Vegetable oil – for deep-fat

Directions

  1. Peel and wash the potatoes.
  2. Grate the potatoes with a curly edge. Rinse thoroughly in cold water.
  3. Dry the potato slices – remove all moisture.
  4. Heat refined vegetable oil well in a saucepan.
  5. Dip the chips in small portions in heated oil. Fry until golden brown. Stir occasionally.
  6. Remove the potatoes from the oil with a slotted spoon.
  7. Salt. Season. Homemade potato chips are ready.
  8. Homemade potato chips can be served.
