  • Toast bread – 6 slices
  • Hard cheese – 200 g
  • Sour cream – 3 tbsp
  • Egg – 3 pcs.
  • Milk – 50 ml
  • Ground black pepper – a pinch
  • Ground nutmeg – pinch
  • Vegetable oil – 2-3 tbsp
  • Butter – 2 teaspoon
  • Salt

Hot Cheese Sandwiches Instructions

  1. Grate the hard cheese using a fine grater.
  2. In a bowl, combine the grated cheese with the sour cream, then season with a pinch of black pepper and a pinch of nutmeg. Stir for about 1 minute until well combined.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture on one slice of toast bread, then cover with a second slice of bread to form a sandwich.
  4. In a shallow bowl, beat together the eggs and milk for about 1 minute, then season with salt to taste.
  5. Dip each sandwich on both sides into the egg-milk mixture to coat.
  6. Heat the vegetable oil and butter in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Cut each sandwich into triangles.
