Ingredients

  • 4 lemon (s), untreated
  • 1 bunch mint, fresh
  • 7 ½ cm ginger root, fresh
  • 750 ml water
  • Sugar and / or
  • honey

Instructions

  1. Zest the 4 lemons and squeeze their juice into a teapot.
  2. Thinly slice the 7 ½ cm piece of fresh ginger root.
  3. Add the ginger slices and 1 bunch fresh mint to the teapot with the lemon zest and juice.
  4. Pour 750 ml boiling water over the mixture. Let steep for 6 minutes.
  5. Pour the tea into tea cups. Garnish with lemon wedges and ginger slices. Sweeten with sugar or honey to taste.
