Hot Sandwiches with Goat Cheese, Honey and Oregano

An original goat cheese appetizer for lovers of this unique, but the undoubtedly healthy product. Choose fresh cheese with a lighter flavor or spicier cheese. The recipe also does not restrict you to a certain type of honey and leaves you the right to choose your flavor.

Ingredients

  • Honey – 2 tbsp
  • Dry wine (sherry) – 2 tbsp
  • Goat cheese – 300 g
  • Baguette – 1 pc.
  • Dried oregano – 2 tbsp

Directions

  1. Cut the baguette into slices about 1 cm thick and brown. Cut the cheese into 1 cm slices.
  2. Combine honey and wine in a saucepan. Stir over low heat until honey dissolves.
  3. Put the cheese on top of the toast. Top with the wine-honey mixture and sprinkle with oregano. Bake the sandwiches under the broiler (about 20 cm apart) for 3-5 minutes. Serve immediately.
