Hot sausage and egg sandwiches are ideal for a hearty breakfast or a quick snack. The sandwiches are delicious and nutritious – a great way to provide your body with energy for most of the day.
Ingredients
Bread – 4 slices
Eggs – 2 pcs.
Sausage – 4 circles
Hard cheese – 4 slices (10-15 g)
Vegetable oil – 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper – to taste
For the filling (optional):
Fresh dill – 1 sprig
Directions
Cut the cheese into thin strips.
Remove the middle from the bread, stepping back about 1 cm from the crust.
Grease a frying pan with vegetable oil, heat over medium heat, and layout 2 bread “frames”. Place a piece of cheese on opposite edges of each “frame”.
Place the second pair of frames on top of the cheese slices. Place 2 overlapping sausage circles inside each sandwich.
Whisk an egg into each sandwich and season with salt and pepper. Fry over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes.
Then gently turn over and fry for another half minute.
