Ingredients

  • 400 g canned chickpeas
  • 2 tablespoon sesame paste
  • 5 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • some liquid (cooking water)

Moreover:

  • some olive oil
  • parsley

Instructions

  1. Strain the chickpeas and boil them in water without salt for 1 hour until they are soft. Catch the cooking water.
  2. Peel the garlic and mix with the chickpeas and the remaining ingredients in a blender or with a hand blender to a creamy paste. Add a few tablespoons of the cooking water.
  3. Serve garnished in a bowl with a few drops of olive oil and fresh parsley. Goes well with fresh ciabatta or as a dip with vegetables.
