Ice Splinters – Tartlets

Instructions

  1. Chop the meringues finely, but not too finely. I always use a freezer bag and knock it down with the meat mallet. The nuts are finely ground. I`ll buy the chocolate shavings ready. Put everything in a bowl. Whip the 2 cups of cream until stiff and fold into the mixture.
  2. Pour the mixture into the hollows of a muffin tin (12 portions) and place in the freezer for about 4 hours (if necessary, cover the mold with cling film beforehand, you can easily remove the tartlets one by one).
  3. The recipe is also wonderfully suitable as a dessert, as it can be made days in advance.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
